Widgets

Everyone likes a good widget!

On this page you can get buttons to put on your own site using the codes provided. They link back here to my blog, and are a more interesting way of directing readers to my site if you think they’ll like it as much as you do.

None of them work. You need to use a Google Site. WordPress doesn’t work for things like this. . . . we’re considering putting them up on our site.
legoless: You need to put them in the ‘Code’ section of the editor. Visual won’t work.

They should work. I’ll refine the coding even more if need be. 🙂

You mean the HTML portion? We know. They just won’t work. That little question-mark box pops up. Try it for yourself.
legoless: Nope, no question mark. It works perfectly. Can you see the widgets on this page? Maybe they’re blocked on your computer or something…

The HTML does work. I’ve tested this on 4 computers, my phone, DSi and I ran it through the W3 Validator. It’s just your computer that’s wrong. I even tried it in Safari 3 where you can emulate browsers, like Firefox and IE. Which raises the question, which browser are you using?

We’re on Fire Fox. Oh, and yeah, we see the widgets here. They just don’t work when we cut’n’paste them.
legoless: Try them again. As Jamie said, he gave them a target (see the way the new codes have clickable links in them?).
