Rare Flower Pot

On April 24th 2008, Rockhopper brought an item back from Rockhopper Island on his row boat for members: “The Rare Flower Pot”. Everyone bought it expecting it to have some kind of rare plant from Rockhopper Island inside, but all it was was simply a pot filled with earth. It was a bit of a let down, but I find it so awesomely boring I can’t take it out of my igloo, no matter how many times I try.

But I found a comment on the Official CP Blog which is very important to the mystery of this pot. Click here to read it.

Have you read it? Good. Well, it seems to me that it’s gonna grow. I presume it’s not gonna be nothing one day then a fully grown plant the next, so I’ve made this page to keep track of it’s growth.

Sneak Peek:

My friends Guineapig119 found a site with an animation of the plant growing. The guy decompiled the files (a.k.a. hacked). It turns into some kind of rose-type plant.

You can use this picture on your blog if you like.

Stage 1:

Nothing has happened yet. It’s still just a pot with dirt in it.

Stage 2:

After days of long wait, the plant has finally sprouted!

Stage 3:

The seedling continues to grow bigger.

Stage 4:

The plant has had a growth spurt.

Stage 5:

The plant is starting to mature, & little flower buds are starting to appear on the stem.

Stage 6:

The now fully-grown plant’s flowers have bloomed.

  • […] In other news: I’ve started a kind of journal of the rare flower pot. You might be wondering why I’m doing that, the explanation is on the post. Click here to go to it. […]

    mine hasnt grown yet
legoless: Yeah, no one’s has. They will probably grow at the same speed.

  • 3. Guineapig119  |  May 2, 2008 at 8:44 pm

I keep mine hidden in my igloo, and absolutely nothing has happened.
legoless: I keep mine in full sight of everyone, it’s too awesome to hide behind the fridge or w/e. Your’s might not grow, since it has no sun-light. (Only joking, but don’t hide a real plant behind the TV, ok?)

  • 4. Charliemeth9  |  May 3, 2008 at 9:06 am

    i think it will grow.

  • 5. Sara Sue457  |  May 3, 2008 at 12:42 pm

Interesting- I wonder what this is….

  • 6. Sydey511  |  May 3, 2008 at 7:56 pm

You might need the water can! Mabye you can have a flower watch at you igloo!
legoless: I already have a watering can in my igloo, & nothing seems different.

  • 7. tanukii25  |  May 4, 2008 at 2:44 am

you have to water it legoless.
legoless: So… how do I do that? Do I put the watering can ontop of it? 😕

  • 8. tanukii25  |  May 4, 2008 at 2:46 pm

’twas a joke…. although you can use the firemen outfit. 😛
legoless: Now you tell me, after I e-mail CP. 😆

  • 9. Guineapig119  |  May 4, 2008 at 6:42 pm

    I really don’t think anything will grow…..
legoless: Then how do you explain this? 😐

  • 10. Guineapig119  |  May 4, 2008 at 9:26 pm

    I saw that comment also.
Club Penguin is, like, 2 months late with our tester reward, so they might be late with the plant also. 😐
legoless: They’re not “late”, they’re releasing it with a new feature which is coming out near the end of May.

  • 11. tanukii25  |  May 5, 2008 at 2:34 am

plants growing in the future is highly possible. thats what happened to the round tables. like how the chips and salsa appeared after the winter fiesta. also how mullet appeared in the table after thanks giving.
legoless: I thought the mullet appeared around Christmas…

  • 12. Guineapig119  |  May 6, 2008 at 11:17 pm

Legoless! I found out what it will look like:

I didn’t make it, just found it on a Club Penguin blog, so you don’t have to give me credit for it.. Use it in good use
legoless: Thanks Guineapig! Although knowing what the stanges will look like sorta ruins the point of the thread… oh well! 😛

GASP! Its a rose bush! Why did I only buy ONE?!?! I m sooooo stupid!

  • 19. Guineapig119  |  May 9, 2008 at 9:08 pm

I knew it would be something good. I bought alot (I hope)
legoless: I bought three. I had to re-buy the first two, because I lost connection a few minutes after I bought them (CP were updating the telescope; you could still see Rockhopper in it, even though he had already docked at the Beach). I bought the 3rd one the last day Rockhopper was here for no reason…

  • […] Thanks to Legoless for the pics. […]

Decompiling isn’t hacking! It is a key to hack but it’s not hacking! Anyway, I found that you have to leave the pot at the same place!
legoless: Decompiling is looking at files that, in this case, aren;t meant to be seen, which counts as hacking.

I wish I have a rare flower pot and that rockhopper can sell anything to members and nonmembers alike.

  • 23. MasterMRZ  |  May 15, 2008 at 12:12 am

Those pictures are from me! i can tell on how they look! Plz give me credit
legoless: How can they be from you when I took the picture? I will not give you credit for something I did. 🙄 Just because we both have our rare flower pot on a grass background, does that mean I copied your pictures? I’ve never even heard of you, never mind your site. 😐

BTW, is wasn’t me who decompiled. I was tired of waiting and wanted to find out what hwould happen, so I google searched it and found it. I don’t hack, I find it repulsive.
    legoless: I know you didn’t.

  • 28. Tanuki I  |  May 22, 2008 at 10:18 pm

    whats null?
legoless: In this case it’s the unpublished page ‘You can’t see me!’ which I use to create hidden posts like this one.

  • 31. 009lvlnomed  |  June 3, 2008 at 11:11 pm

Wish I had it…. wonder when rockhopper is coming back… can’t wait to buy my first member item from him…
legoless: Yeah, I remember when I was waiting for my first Member item from Rocky. I thought that there was a pirate party every time he came back then. 🙄 Sadly, my first items were letdowns. A returned item & 3 tiny nicknacks. 😐

  • 32. legoless  |  June 5, 2008 at 4:50 pm

Yay! The plant is fully grown! At last! 😀
